Inspired by movement and dance, Sarah builds her classes slowly and intuitively, with an emphasis on breath-led flow and intelligent sequencing. She enjoys exploring smooth, fluid transitions that work with, rather than against, the body’s natural patterns of movement. Balancing strength with grace, and power with softness, her classes are physically engaging, mentally calming, and rooted in mindful awareness.
Sarah completed her 200-hour RYT training in power vinyasa at CorePower Yoga (Point Loma, San Diego) and began teaching in Southern California. She teaches a wide range of classes including all-levels vinyasa, mindful flow, power yoga, gentle yoga, and yin.
She has taught in both studio and academic settings and was part-time faculty at Northern Arizona University, where she taught yoga through the Health Sciences Fitness Department.
Currently teaching and available for studio classes, substitute coverage, and specialty offerings in the Bay Area.
“As a student and teacher of yoga, my creative work reflects the principles behind the practice, the connection between body, mind, and spirit; the focus of breath to movement; and the celebration of presence.
The process through which I create each piece of jewelry, developing combinations of color, texture, light, and movement, mirrors my approach on the mat. Each discipline becomes a form of meditation, cultivating beauty, harmony, and balance.”
